Floss your knee? new study tests elastic band trick for arthritis relief
NCT ID NCT07181421
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study looks at whether using an elastic band (tissue flossing) along with leg exercises helps people with knee osteoarthritis feel less pain and move better. About 58 adults aged 40-70 with mild to moderate knee arthritis will be split into two groups: one does exercises only, the other adds tissue flossing. After 4 weeks, researchers will compare pain, range of motion, and muscle strength to see if the flossing gives extra benefit.
