Eat in a window, slash cancer risk? new study tests Time-Restricted diet

NCT ID NCT05114798

First seen May 24, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026

Summary

This study compares time-restricted eating (eating only during a set daily window) to traditional calorie counting for weight loss and reducing colorectal cancer risk. About 193 adults with obesity, aged 45-70, will follow one of the two diets for a period. The goal is to see if time-restricted eating is a more effective and practical way to manage weight and prevent colon cancer.
