Fighting cancer with a Patient's own supercharged immune cells
NCT ID NCT05142475
Summary
This early-phase study is testing a personalized treatment called TIL therapy for people with advanced breast cancer that hasn't responded to standard treatments. Doctors take a patient's own immune cells from a tumor sample, grow large numbers of them in a lab, and then infuse them back into the patient to try to fight the cancer. The main goals are to see if this approach is safe and if it can shrink tumors or slow the cancer's progression.
