Fighting cancer with a Patient's own supercharged immune cells
NCT ID NCT05142475
Summary
This early-stage study is testing a personalized treatment for advanced breast cancer. Doctors take a patient's own immune cells from a tumor sample, grow large numbers of them in a lab, and then infuse them back into the patient. The goal is to see if this 'TIL therapy' is safe and can help control the cancer in people who have already tried standard treatments without success.
