Summary
This study tests whether measuring parathyroid hormone during thyroid removal surgery can help doctors personalize care afterward. 150 adults having their thyroid removed will be split into groups based on their hormone drop. Some will skip routine blood tests, others will get early high-dose calcium. The goal is to safely reduce complications, hospital stays, and improve quality of life.
