Can thyroid function bounce back after cancer treatment?
NCT ID NCT07421869
Summary
This study aims to see if thyroid function can recover in cancer patients who developed low thyroid activity as a side effect of immunotherapy drugs. Researchers will work with 107 adults who are currently taking thyroid hormone medication after stopping their cancer treatment. The goal is to gradually reduce and potentially stop the thyroid medication while monitoring patients to see if their thyroid can work on its own again.
