Can patients stop thyroid meds after cancer treatment?
NCT ID NCT07421869
Summary
This study aims to see if thyroid problems caused by cancer immunotherapy drugs can improve after stopping those drugs. It involves 107 adult cancer patients who developed low thyroid function during treatment and are now taking thyroid hormone pills. Researchers will gradually reduce their medication to see if their thyroid can work on its own again and identify which patients are most likely to succeed.
