Summary
This pilot study compares two approaches for managing thyroid nodules that look suspicious on ultrasound: immediate biopsy (usual care) or active monitoring with regular ultrasounds. The goal is to see if monitoring causes less anxiety and maintains quality of life. Twenty adults with small, symptom-free nodules will be randomly assigned to one of the two groups.
