Summary
This study is testing whether a thyroid hormone (T3), delivered directly into the lungs, is safe and can help patients with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) breathe better. It will involve 68 critically ill adults who are on breathing machines. The main goal is to see if the treatment improves how much oxygen gets into their blood.
