First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a hands-on technique to release a specific back muscle covering (thoracolumbar fascia) could improve shoulder blade position and arm function in teenage volleyball players. 51 athletes aged 12-19 who trained regularly took part. The researchers measured shoulder movement and arm stability before and after the release to see if it made a difference.
