First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a hands-on technique to release the thoracolumbar fascia (a layer of tissue in the lower back) could improve shoulder blade position and arm function in teenage volleyball players. Fifty-one athletes aged 12-19 took part. The results help us understand how the lower back connects to upper body movement.
