Summary
This study tested a technique called thermocoagulation in 100 children with focal drug-resistant epilepsy. Doctors used tiny electrodes to apply heat to the part of the brain causing seizures, aiming to reduce seizure frequency for weeks or months. The goal was to ease symptoms and help guide future surgery, not to cure the condition.
