First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at how THC (the active part of cannabis) changes people's desire to smoke cigarettes and how their bodies react. Researchers will give different doses of THC or a placebo to 100 adults who smoke both tobacco and cannabis. They will measure cigarette cravings, heart rate, blood pressure, and thinking skills to understand the link between cannabis and tobacco use.
