New hope for rare brain disease: long-term safety trial launched

Summary
This study tests the long-term safety of an oral drug called TEV-56286 for adults with multiple system atrophy (MSA), a rare and serious brain disorder. About 200 people who completed a prior study will take the drug for up to 100 weeks. The main goal is to see if the drug is safe and tolerable over time.
