NCT ID NCT07139093
First seen Apr 06, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests a new interface that synchronizes two brain stimulation methods—transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS) and deep brain stimulation (DBS)—in people with Parkinson's disease. Only 2 participants will be enrolled to see if the device can precisely time the stimulations as intended. The goal is to prepare for future studies on how different timings affect brain activity and behavior.
