5-Minute brain scan could speed up ER triage for head injuries
NCT ID NCT07490418
First seen Mar 25, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study is testing a new device called TES HT100 that can screen for brain injuries in just 5 minutes. Researchers want to see if it can accurately find problems in adults who come to the emergency room with mild head trauma or certain neurological symptoms. The device will be compared to a standard head CT scan. If it works well, it could help doctors decide who needs a CT scan faster and reduce overcrowding in the ER.
