5-Minute scan could speed up brain injury detection in ER
NCT ID NCT07490418
First seen Mar 25, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study is testing a new device called TES HT100 that uses a quick, 5-minute scan to check for brain injuries in adults coming to the emergency room with mild head trauma or certain neurological symptoms (like dizziness, confusion, or vision changes). Researchers want to see how accurate and safe the device is compared to a standard head CT scan. If successful, it could help doctors triage patients faster and reduce unnecessary CT scans.
