NCT ID NCT07236216

First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests whether a gentle electrical brain stimulation, combined with physical therapy and exercises that pair walking with thinking tasks, can improve movement, thinking, and brain activity in people who have had a stroke. Researchers will enroll 60 adults who had a stroke 2 weeks to 5 years ago and can walk with or without help. The goal is to see if this combination helps recovery more than standard therapy alone.
