First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looks at whether terazosin, a drug used for high blood pressure, can change heart nerve activity in people with REM sleep behavior disorder (a strong early sign of Parkinson's). Researchers will measure heart scans and symptoms over 26 weeks in 15 adults aged 50-85. The goal is to better understand early Parkinson's changes, not to treat or cure the disease.
