Brain scans reveal how TENS may ease MS fatigue and walking trouble
NCT ID NCT06432686
First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This pilot study tests whether a mild electrical stimulation called TENS can change brain activity in people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) who have fatigue and walking problems. Researchers will use brain scans (fMRI) to see how the brain responds during stimulation. The goal is to understand how TENS works, not yet to prove it treats symptoms. 30 adults with MS, ages 18-65, who can walk with or without aid may join.
