Zap your pain? electrical device tested for hernia recovery
NCT ID NCT07319754
Summary
This study is testing if a TENS device, which uses mild electrical pulses on the skin, can help reduce pain and improve sleep for people recovering from hernia surgery. 80 adults having hernia surgery will be randomly assigned to receive either TENS treatment along with usual care or just usual care. Researchers will compare pain levels and sleep quality between the two groups to see if TENS is a helpful, non-drug option for recovery.
