Shock away the sting: TENS device tested for psoriasis injection pain

NCT ID NCT04058652

First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests whether a TENS device, which sends mild electrical pulses through sticky pads on the skin, can reduce pain from biologic injections in people with psoriasis. About 20 adults will receive one injection without TENS and another with TENS, then rate their pain. The goal is to see if TENS can make injections more comfortable and help patients stick with their treatment.
