Summary
This study tests whether a TENS device, which sends mild electrical pulses through the skin, can quickly reduce acute low back pain in emergency room patients. About 222 adults with sudden back pain will receive either real TENS or a placebo device. The goal is to see if more people get at least 30% pain relief within 30 minutes, offering a drug-free option for pain management.
