Summary
This study tests whether a small device that sends mild electrical pulses through the skin (TENS) can quickly reduce acute low back pain in people visiting the emergency department. About 222 adults with recent back pain will receive either real TENS or a placebo device for 30 minutes. The goal is to see if TENS offers a safe, drug-free option for pain relief.
