NCT ID NCT07533487

First seen Apr 21, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looked at whether adding a gentle electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) to cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and standard medicines could reduce pain and improve quality of life in 60 postmenopausal women with fibromyalgia. Participants were split into three groups: one with only medicines, one adding CBT, and one adding both CBT and TENS. The goal was to see if the extra treatments made a difference in pain, symptoms, and daily function.
