Summary
This study tested whether occupational therapy delivered via video calls (telerehabilitation) could help stroke survivors on a waiting list improve their ability to perform everyday tasks like bathing, dressing, and using the phone. Fifteen participants were randomly assigned to receive remote therapy or remain on the waitlist. Researchers measured changes in independence and arm function after two months.
