Summary

This study tested whether therapy sessions over video call (FaceTime) could help people with spinal cord injury who feel depressed. 75 adults with a recent spinal cord injury and mild to moderate depression took part. They received cognitive behavior therapy from a psychologist via iPad. The goal was to see if this approach reduces depression and anxiety and improves life satisfaction.
