NCT ID NCT07576855

First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests whether a telephone program that encourages older adults to share life memories can reduce loneliness and improve mental well-being. About 170 rural older adults and their informal caregivers will take part. Some start the program right away, others wait 12 weeks, so researchers can compare the effects.
