First seen May 09, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tested whether using a smartphone app (TRAK) to guide and monitor exercises at home could improve pain and function in people with knee osteoarthritis, compared to doing the same exercises without the app. Fifty adults over 45 with knee pain took part. The goal was to see if remote monitoring could offer a convenient, effective alternative to in-person physical therapy.
