Virtual dental chats may ease clinic visits for special-needs youth

Summary
This study tests whether a telehealth interview before a dental checkup helps youth with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD) and their dentists. About 50 participants will be randomly assigned to have a video call or not. Researchers will measure if the video group meets their dental goals better and how satisfied caregivers and dentists are.
