Can video calls ease the exhaustion of MS?
NCT ID NCT05848323
Summary
This study tested whether specific parts of online cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) could help people with multiple sclerosis (MS) manage their severe fatigue. Researchers worked with 21 adults with MS to see if three therapy components—relaxation training, activity planning, and changing unhelpful thoughts—were practical, acceptable, and showed early signs of reducing fatigue when delivered remotely. The goal was to understand which parts of therapy work best to make effective treatment more accessible.
