First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tested whether regular phone calls from a nurse could help people with fibromyalgia manage their pain and improve daily activity. 44 adults were split into two groups: one received three nurse-led phone calls with education, the other got usual care. After two months, researchers measured pain levels and overall impact of the condition. The goal was to see if simple phone support could make a difference.
