First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study tested whether a tele-nursing service (phone calls from a nurse) could help people with fibromyalgia manage their pain and improve their daily activity levels. 44 adults with fibromyalgia were split into two groups: one received three educational phone calls, and the other received standard care. The results showed that the phone-based support helped reduce pain and improve how patients felt overall.
