Summary
This study tests whether adding a gentle electrical acupoint stimulation (TEAS) to a standard three-drug anti-nausea regimen can further reduce vomiting after laparoscopic surgery. Researchers will compare active TEAS to a sham (fake) version in 780 women at high risk for postoperative nausea and vomiting. The goal is to find a better way to ease this common side effect.
