First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding a gentle brain stimulation technique (tDCS) to a focused arm therapy (Constraint-Induced Therapy) can improve arm and hand movement in people who had a stroke at least six months ago. Forty participants will be split into two groups: one gets both treatments, the other gets therapy alone. The goal is to see if the combination leads to better motor recovery and muscle changes.
