First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study was designed to see if a noninvasive device that stimulates the vagus nerve (tcVNS) could help people wake up faster and clearer after anesthesia. It planned to enroll adults having lumbar spine surgery and measure their recovery time, delirium, and depression. However, the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled, so no results are available.
