New study aims to ease the journey home for TBI patients and their families

Summary

This study tests whether community health workers can help care partners of people with traumatic brain injury (TBI) manage the transition from hospital rehab to home. About 126 care partners will receive support via texts, calls, and check-ins. The goal is to improve care partner activation and well-being, reducing stress and rehospitalizations.
