First seen Feb 26, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looks at how to find tuberculosis (TB) in pregnant and postpartum women in Guinea-Bissau. Researchers will test new screening methods, including a symptom checklist, stool tests, and AI-powered chest X-rays, to see if they work better than current approaches. About 720 pregnant women will take part. The goal is to improve TB detection and guide health policies for this vulnerable group.
