NCT ID NCT05840809

First seen May 10, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at how tuberculosis medications travel from a mother's blood into her breastmilk and then to her nursing baby. Researchers will take blood and milk samples from 20 mothers and small blood samples from their infants at several time points after a dose. The goal is to understand drug levels in both mother and child, which can help doctors give safer and more effective TB treatment during breastfeeding.
