NCT ID NCT05840809
First seen May 10, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at how tuberculosis (TB) medicines behave in the bodies of breastfeeding mothers and their infants. Researchers will measure drug levels in the mother's blood and breastmilk, as well as in the baby's blood, after the mother takes her TB pills. The goal is to understand how much of the drug reaches the baby through breastfeeding, which can help doctors give better treatment advice. About 20 mothers with active TB who are pregnant or breastfeeding will take part.
