NCT ID NCT06818084

First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study is testing a new, less invasive way to replace the aortic valve in people with severe aortic regurgitation (a leaky heart valve). About 180 participants will receive either the new VitaFlow valve system or a standard device. The goal is to see if the new system reduces risks like death, stroke, or heart failure-related hospital stays within a year after the procedure.
