Nerve zapping for 5, 10, or 15 minutes: does duration matter?

NCT ID NCT07532005

First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looks at how a gentle, non-invasive nerve stimulation on the ear affects heart rate, blood pressure, and breathing in healthy adults aged 18 to 40. Participants will receive either real or fake stimulation for 5, 10, or 15 minutes on separate visits. The goal is to see if longer stimulation produces stronger effects. This is a knowledge-gathering study, not a treatment.
