Summary
This study looked at whether taking a tart cherry supplement for 7 days helps muscles recover and adapt after intense exercise. Twenty-one healthy, active adults did arm exercises and took either the cherry supplement or a placebo. Researchers measured muscle strength, soreness, and signs of inflammation to see if the cherries made a difference.
