Summary
This study looked at whether combining mammography and breast MRI can help doctors identify patients with ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) who could be treated with a single dose of radiation during surgery. The goal was to see if this approach could reduce the need for additional surgeries or radiation. The study was stopped early and included 36 participants.
