New hope for kids with inoperable brain cancer: targeted radiation trial seeks safer dose

NCT ID NCT05610891

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new targeted radiation drug called CLR 131 in children and young adults (ages 10-25) with aggressive brain tumors that have returned or not responded to other treatments and cannot be removed by surgery. The main goals are to find a safe and effective dose and to see if the treatment can help control the cancer and extend life. Researchers will closely monitor how the body handles the drug and track any side effects and changes in tumor size.
