Summary
This study is testing whether adding a targeted form of radiation to a stem cell transplant helps kill more cancer cells in the bone marrow and lowers the chance of the disease coming back. Adults (18-75) with acute leukemia or myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) who need a transplant from a partially matched donor may join. The main goal is to see if patients are free of both cancer relapse and a serious transplant complication one year after treatment.
