Summary
This study tested a two-step treatment for multiple myeloma, a blood cancer. Patients received high-dose chemotherapy with a stem cell transplant, then a second round with an added drug. The goal was to see if this approach could keep the cancer from coming back longer. 148 adults aged 18-75 took part.
