Summary
This study tests whether tamsulosin, a drug typically used for prostate problems, can prevent or shorten the time people need a catheter after spine surgery. About 20 adults having certain types of spine surgery will take the drug and be monitored for urinary retention. The goal is to see if it reduces complications and gets patients home sooner.
