Summary
This study tested two forms of tamoxifen—a pill and a skin gel—against no treatment in women at high risk for breast cancer due to atypical hyperplasia or lobular carcinoma in situ. The goal was to see short-term changes in breast tissue. The study was stopped early and involved 65 women.
