New hope for BRCA-Linked breast cancer: targeted pill shows promise in trial

Summary
This study tests a drug called talazoparib in people with metastatic breast cancer that has a BRCA1 or BRCA2 mutation in the tumor (not inherited). The goal is to see if the drug can slow or stop cancer growth. About 30 participants will take the pill and be monitored for tumor response and side effects.
